- Well, everything changes all the time, and that includes me. I don't work any more. Except for some things I like doing. That'll change too -- my savings are exhausted. I'm really happy. I have some ideas about what I'm doing next, but it's not time to share them yet. I don't know whether to continue with this blog. I started it a year ago because I needed to work some things out about what I was doing and living with. I've stopped living with the things that were wrong for me. I think this is a long leave of absence -- but I'm not sure. I'm sorry -- I don't know what to say.

It is good to see you back here again.
It's good to be back. I'll post more about being away. Most of it was wonderful; I think you've all seen the worst.
And given the number of happy birthday wishes you got, I'm amazed you had time to read anything else, and grateful.

I love Joe Cocker too, Sherry.
He always makes me want to take someone's clothes off. Him, or really good tenor sax jazz.

You know, I never liked him in our youth but now he has gravitas.
Well, he has SOMETHING I like, D-P, but I wouldn't have called it gravitas. I also love his versions of "You Can Keep Your Hat On," and the Beatles' "Come Together".
