It's great how the babies were carried and lovingly passed around. Took my breath away, in fact.

I'll tell you all more about Stephen Lewis and the Foundation another time, but I thought this was breathtaking.

This is heartbreakingly beautiful and true. I saw this when I spent a month in Zambia two years ago. I hope you will write about Stephen Lewis; he has said some profound things. Thank you for this. I may have to put it on my blog, too. You have touched me greatly.

Oh my- my heart is stilled.

This is amazing.

Jan, go ahead and put it on your blog too -- I think there are others as well. The message is so important, and it's something I really believe CAN get better, if only we could all stop pissing away our energy making moral judgments about other people's behaviour.

Fran -- that's a lovely way to put it. "My heart is stilled" And then I thought, "Be still and know that I am God." Thank you.

Kate, this is so beautiful, so very beautiful. Love personified. But oh, the tragedy, the unnecessary tragedy!

Lord, have mercy.
