Very nice. But where are the nuns?

I'm guessing they levitated away

The nuns aren't Canadian winter-hardy -- we had record amounts of snow in February, and unusually low temperatures. Church services were canceled a couple of times (including Ash Wednesday), on the grounds that we don't want to invite what congregants we have to kill themselves on the roads on the way to and from church.

Thank you. I'm in the learning curve with the digital camera -- it was a Christmas present. I hadn't used a camera for about 20 years, really. And I kept saying, "I don't understand how this works -- I understand FILM." I did too; used to process and print my own B&W 35mm.

I got told, "Go out and take a thousand pictures with it." So I've been carrying it with me a lot. I love the textures in this tree, and am learning to use the zoom and how to get crisp focus. You are all going to see a lot more photographs than I expected when I started this blog -- I'm enjoying this.
